Hamilton County Bluegrass Band: Fifth Season – Some bluegrass from 1970, can’t find out too much about this American band.

Dire Straits: Brothers in Arms – Five singles were released from this nine track record, so someone made loads of money (for Nothing) – which is a great tune, clocks in at over eight minutes on the record and the video was pretty cool.

Chet Atkins: Picks on the Beatles – An amusing album cover and title made me buy this, released in 1966 with album notes by George Harrison.

Jeff Beck And The Yardbirds: Shapes Of Things – This is a compilation record released in 1972, it’s pretty good, quite grungy really.

Creedence Clearwater Revival: Cosmo’s Factory – One of the best album covers ever I think, the dudes on a ten-speed!. Top tunes inside too, ‘Lookin’ Out My Back Door’ probably being the most famous. The band were at their commercial peak when this was released in 1970.

Album Count 2016: 248
