Minimalism: A Documentary About the Important Things

This is a rather interesting doco about two ex-corporate ladder chaps who started a movement called Minimalism. Tired of their hollow corporate ladder climbing they seeked meaning in life, which for them is living without any stuff. Lots of talking heads of other people who live the same philosophy, or something similar. One guy only owns 52 things (not including a house), he says he’s homeless but just rents a house when he needs it! I think he owns a thousand more things though: dollar bills.

Anyway, interesting stuff, and something I should probably do. We never really find out if the two chaps find the meaning of life though, perhaps they’re too busy travelling around the country promoting their book.
