These guys had to be one of the most hard working bands around, playing every night in clubs across New York for years before they could get a record deal, even though they were selling out clubs all over NYC. Dee Snider (singer) and Jay Jay (guitar, who has reportedly played over 9,000 gigs!) were the main sisters of the band, neither of them did drugs or drink so both had a hard work ethic. The only TS tune I know is We’re Not Going To Take It, which I don’t even remember hearing in this doco, but that’s probably because it focusses on the band’s early years before they became famous. They split in the 80s but reformed a few years ago and are still chugging along.
