Supertramp: …Famous Last Words… – Album number seven by the band with one of the worst band names ever. It contains the hit ‘It’s Raining Again’, the rest is just sappy pop. The two main songwriters has different ideas for this album, one wanted it to be pop with hits, the other a prog-rock concept album. It’s neither. Terrible cover art.

Stephen Stills: Stills from Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young here, with his 1970 self-titled record. Interesting as it is the only record which Hendrix and Clapton played on (not together but on different tunes), Hendrix died a month before this was released. Ringo Starr drums on a couple of tracks too.

Bruce Springsteen: Nebraska – This is from 1982, a quiet one from the Boss, these tunes were recorded as demos for his E Street Band to make into full band songs, but they could never get it sounding right so Bruce just released the demos instead. Pretty blimmin’ good too.

Album Count 2016: 166
