The main reason I chose this TV film is because it has The Shat, I thought it would be interesting to see what he did directly after Star Trek (this was released in 1970, not long after the original Star Trek series ended).
Basically, it was about the crew of an American bomber that had crashed in the Libyan desert (based on a true story), and were waiting for 17 years to be rescued. We found out though that they were in fact all dead, and were just ghosts hanging around with their aircraft hoping to get back to America.
One of the crewmen bailed out and survived, and when the aircraft was finally found he went off with an airforce investigator to check the plane out. The Shat played an airforce colonel in the investigation team.
A mildly interesting story I suppose, with a few familiar TV faces. The Shat was doing his usual thing.
After this film The Shat had a difficult time finding decent work, and even lost his home, living in a truck bed camper for a while.
