More CeeDees

Cafe Del Mar: Volumen Ocho – Goldfrapp, Dido, Lamb and Ben Onono are the only familiar names on this trendy compilation.

Gipsy Kings: Mosaïque – Album number four from these guys from France (I always thought they were from South America), pretty good for what it is too.

Paul Kelly: Songs from the South – Greatest hits from bit of an Aussie institution, some good tunes to be had.

I scored a few Mojo Magazine compilations from an op-shop, top stuff:
Mojo: The Dawning Of A New Era – Excellent ska compilation, Desmond Dekker, Toots, The Ruts, Bob Marley, Judge Dread and Neville Staples amongst others.

Mojo: I Can See For Miles – Lost Tracks From America’s Psychedelic Underground – Tops stuff this, 13th Floor Elevators are the only band I know on this so lots of new tunes to get into.

Mojo: Made In Britain 2007 – The Aliens were the best thing out of 2007 in Britain then.

Mojo: All The Young Dudes – T. Rex, Motorhead, Slade, Mott the Hoople and other young dudes rock out on this.

Mojo: ok_computer – Gary Numan & The Tubeway Army are the best thing on this Radiohead inspired compilation, but there is lots of other good stuff to get into.

Midnight Oil: Redneck Wonderland – 1998 record from these angry Aussies. Not had a proper listen really. Great cover of a roo with a shotgun.

Grizzly Bear: Veckatimest – top stuff from this American band who I always thought were European as they are so good.

Album Count 2016: 98
