Trading Places

Yet another film I have seen, many years ago, but had largely forgotten.

I didn’t really know what to expect of this, being an eighties film, but it turned out to be better than I expected. The star of the show was Eddie Murphy of course, but Dan Aykroyd, Jamie Lee Curtis, Denholm Elliot (he was great), and Don Ameche were all funny too.

Bo Diddley had a small part as a pawnshop broker, Frank Oz was a cop, and Jim Belushi a party dude in a gorilla suit. Reading up about Jim I found that he is going to be in Twin Peaks next year.

Worth a watch for a bit of Eighties nostalgia, and just a fun film overall.
