Four Vinyls

Bit of a score at a local bookshop in town, the owner must be selling his record collection, while a tad on the pricey side these vinyls were worth it. Cream’s first album Fresh Cream from 1966, The Rolling Stones 1974 album It’s Only Rock and Roll (terrible artwork on this one), The Allman Brothers Band 1970 album Idlewild South and a double disc Miles Davis compilation album from 1979 called Circle in the Round.

So a good selection all round, the title track of the Stones record is the most recognisable tune, and it’s a pretty good record all round. Miles Davis is always worth a spin and The Allman Brothers Band is always good for a toe-tapping jam. The best one was of course Fresh Cream, tops.

Album Count 2016: 16
