True Romance (Director’s cut)

I decided to watch this film again, I remembered it being good, and I thought the director’s version might be good to see.

Christian Slater and Patricia Arquette were perfect in this, they made the whole film what it was, and Quentin Tarantino’s writing too of course. I read that Quentin’s original ending was quite different, but he agreed with the director’s version.

Christopher Walken was brillo as usual in his cameo, so much fun to watch. This film also had Dennis Hopper, Brad Pitt, James Gandolfini, Val Kilmer, Samuel L. Jackson, Gary Oldman, and Tom Sizemore amongst others, so quite the cast.

The director’s cut though doesn’t mean much in this, just a few scenes added in that were cut because they were too violent, or had too much potty language. It didn’t add to the film at all I thought.

I could easily watch this again.

Date watched: January 9th
Score: 10/10
Film count 2016: 5

Here is Christopher’s scene.
