James Balog is a photographer who spends his days (and loads of money) photographing glaciers over a period of time to show the shrinkage of them. And shrinking fast they are. So we are all pretty much screwed. Quite interesting, especially the technical requirements for such a challenge, the cameras had to withstand freezing temperatures, polar bears, and fierce winds. There is also some amazing footage of a glacier calving event, the longest ever shot, 7.4 cubic kilometres come crashing off a glacier, like a city falling into the ocean.
