Acoustic Vol. 1 – 2 CD set of loads of acoustical stylings from Badly Drawn Boy, Stereophonics, Coldpuke, Radiohead, Big Star, Mercury Rev and Grandaddy to name not many.
All Fired Up: The Lost Treasures Of Australian Music 1970-1990 – These should have remained hidden. Only decent track are by those ‘Aussies’ Split Enz.
Kraftwerk: Autobahn – Super find at op-shop, I listen to this quite a bit, top stuff from the Germans.
Lana Del Rey: Ultraviolence – I got this from the library, having heard her West Coast tune, thinking it was ok dokey. And the rest of the tunes here are tops, good stuff.
Lana Del Rey: Born to Die – I thoroughly enjoyed Lana’s latest record so I got her other record, which is tops as well. Loads of bonus tunes to be had.
Cornershop: When I Was Born For The 7th Time – Classic.
REM: Monster and Reveal – Library finds, kind of love/can’t be arsed relationship with these chaps. These are good though.
Pink Floyd: The Endless River – Filler noodling from from the Floyd, scraping the bottom of the barrel here.
PWEI: The Looks Or The Lifestyle – Ahhhh, those were the days.
Pet Shop Boys: Bilingual – All very fancy.
Wolfmother: Cosmic Egg – Rawk.
The Dandy Warhols Come Down – More pretentious stuff from these poseurs.
TMBG: Flood Live – Live rendering of TMBG’s third album. Describes as thier definative release. I still think the first album is the best. Minimum Wage is an excellent tune.
