Op-shop giddyness

I got giddy at the local op-shop today:
The Shins: Oh, Inverted World – Top pop stuff from The Shins. Great name for a band too.
Essential Selection Vol One: This is a compilation with some stuff, and some other well-known stuff, like Fatboy Slim, Chemical Brothers and Underworld. The stuff is the poor man’s other stuff.
Kings of Convenience: Declaration of Dependence – More ditties from these two dudes.
AnotherLateNight: Groove Armada – Don’t really know Groove Armada but love the Late Night series, and for a $1 you’d think you couldn’t go wrong. But Groove Armada don’t have the best taste. Worth it for Roy Ayers, Grace Jones, Al Green and Aretha but unfortunately not that many new sounds to explore, except for Shuggie Otis!
Metronomy: Love Letters – By far the best find in my haul, Metronomy’s latest record, and toe-tapping good it is too.
Feist: Let It Die – Feist is from Broken Social Scene, this is her second album, and a nice slice of popcake it is too.
Beck: Midnite Vultures – I remember when this was released all those years ago, it sounded different to his other stuff back then but today just sounds like Beck. Cracking good stuff.

Album count 2015: 9
