Permanent Vacation

I decided to watch the last Jim Jarmusch film available on Hulu+ which was this one. Unfortunately it was a bit of a letdown.

This was his first film and was made just after he dropped out from film school, and was shot on 16mm film.

It was 75 minutes long, but because of the lack of a story and little dialogue it seemed longer. There would be whole scenes of just nothing happening, like the main character playing with a yo-yo as he walked a scuzzy New York street.

I suppose though that this is considered worth watching because Jim Jarmusch made it.

Date watched: April 3rd
Score: 2/10
Film count 2015: 46
