It’s a Wonderful Life

I thought this was going to be a bit corny and overly happy, and is was in places, but I ended up really liking it.

James Stewart was brillo, although he was a most brillo actor anyway, he could do no wrong. The rest of the cast I imagine were infected by Jimmie’s energy and Jimmie-ness, so were all chipper and awfully nice. The dude who played the evil town tycoon was great, very anti-Jimmyesque which is what he needed to be.

The story moved along at a good pace, it didn’t dwell on being too Christmassy and get all soppy, except at the very end of course.

And now I know where the name “Zuzu’s petals” comes from.

Date watched: September 24th
Score: 9/10
Film count 2014: 107

Here is one of the Zuzu’s petals scenes. There is one more scene which is the pivotal Zuzu’s petals scene, but I won’t ruin that for you if you have not seen this film.
